But first things first, here are the ingredients for 4 people:
4 chicken breasts
one glass of red pesto (It also works with green, although I haven't tried that yet)
250 grams bacon
Mozzarella
Start by cleaning the chicken breasts and slicing them half open. Take the pesto and a brush and beush the pesto onto the inside of the chicken breasts. Add a slice of mozzarella and close the breasts. Then stick tooth picks into the chicken breast to ensure that the pesto and mozz stays inside.

After you're done, sauté the chicken breasts in a pan until golden brown, then wrap each piece of chicken breast in bacon and put all four breasts into a lasagna pan.
Preheat the oven to 180°C and put the pan in once the oven is hot, then bake for 20 more minutes. And taaadaaaa. You have a delicious dish.
Bacon and chicken? Count me in!
ReplyDeleteNever thought about adding in pesto before when it's been wrapped in bacon, I don't know why, as I can imagine the bacon tastes delicious with the pesto!

Bacon and chicken are great together. Well bacon is good with anything. You should try it and let me know if you like it :)
